In What Order do you Eat?

You guys are killing me lol. I eat my healthiest first, then whatever I feel like a can do without last. Normally it ends up being least favorite to most favorite, unless broccoli is on my plate. I make it last the whole meal because it's my favorite food of all. Gotta enjoy it over and over rather than at just the beginning or end of a meal lol. We really do sound OCD here...or just super picky if you don't want to label it0

Stuff down the veggies I hate (which is all of them) first, then enjoy delicious bread and meat products.0

If I'm eating a cheesburger I usually cut it into peices...
But what about the juices? Every time you cut a burger, you lose 18.2% of the juices. The right way to do it is to eat the burger until you have eaten approximately 52.9% of the burger, and then use the rest of it to sop up whatever juice you carelessly allowed to leave your sandwich.0 -
How much time you got? Ok, I'll keep it short: Main principle: least favorite to most favorite!
When I used to eat fast food, I'd usually do it in the car, so the fries first, cuz they get cold fast. Then, I'd turn the burger so the cheesiest part was last (least to most)
I have ALWAYS eaten the crust off my sandwich first (least to most)
I used to eat one thing at a time when I was a kid, but now, I like to mix it up - eat a little of this, a little of that... but I always eat more of my least favorite and less of my most until only my most favorite is left (least to most, see?)
You are a classy person.
Saving the best for last! It's my motto in life and how I eat too.0 -
Alphabetically.
I eat whatever gets cold the fastest. If it's soup/mixed food i like to have all the main components in each bite.0 -
I like to mix it up-but my hubby always eats his veggies first, then his starch then the meat and our youngest son eats the same way:laugh: but when I eat a burger or snadwich I always eat the edges first (yes even if it is a round object I keep turning it) I got that from my mother
I eat the edges first, too...but I can't blame my mom for that one.0 -
 :indifferent: :noway:0

I like to make sure I have a little of eveything in my bites. If it's a casserole or soup, I want a little meat and a little veg with some of the broth, sauce or pasta. If it's a meat, side (potato, rice, noodles, veg meal, I'll take a bite of meat, then scoop up a little of the side and stab a few few veggies, the more meat, then more side/veg combo. I like mixing my side and veg so I can avoid putting butter and salt on my veg but they still taste good with the side in the same bite.
One of the girls I work with doesn't like her food touching - shepherd's pie freaks her out a little.0 -
I usually try to eat my least fav first (like a lot of people evidently!). But I kinda go around my plate in a circle...a bite of this, a bite of that, and try to finish it all at relatively the same time. It sucks a bit when i have 4oz of protein, 2/3 cup of vegetable, and 1/2 cup of starch, but it works0

Usually least favorite first, saving the best for last. I only eat one thing at a time. Anything that I can take apart, I do..like green beans, I eat the outside and then the "bean"..or lima beans, I eat the "skin" then the rest of it.
I'm sure there's more that I just don't think about. I've always been teased about how I eat.0 -
haha, i do the same thing. eat what i like the least first and save the best for last!0
-
I eat the same as you i bit of the mixed with a bite of another and just eat my food randomly. I don't mind eating salad on plate but I do notice it is easier to eat it on a bowl since I like Balsamic Vinegar, I don't like it when it hit the other food since it's flavor is strong. I drink my water during my meal as well. Small bites, I am a really slow eater0

I eat whatever I "should" eat but don't care for first, so that's usually veggies. Then I'll alternate bites between the good stuff left. I always always save the best bite for last.
If I am eating a hamburger and fries, I eat around the edge of the hamburger so all the stuff stays inside. My last bite will have the most stuff on it. I alternate Eating burger and fries. I save the best fry and best bite of hamburger for last.
Don't dare take my last fry.0 -

I always eat the edges or 'around' my sandwich first too - I have no idea where I get that from though since no one else in my family does it.
I eat my least favorite first & always save the meat for last. I also cannot stand it when my food touches so I either have to have separate bowls or plates for things or like a cafeteria tray to keep them divided.
I'm an edge eater, too.0 -
I thrills me to see that there are so many 'edge eaters', now I can tell my husband that I'm not completely weird next time we have a burger.0
-
I take a bite of each thing around my plate. Bite of meat, then bite of potatoes, then veggies, and back around. I watch my kids eat and they finish each thing then move on to the next. I think it's weird. lol0

I've got a good one. When I eat a Snicker's bar, I eat the chocolate around the outside first, then I eat the nugget part at the bottom, then I eat the caramel/peanuts layer.
I sometimes eat veggies, then meat, then bread/potato. Sometimes I can't wait and I start with the meat. But sometimes when I eat the meat first, I don't eat all my veggies.0 -
Always eat my least favourite food first. That includes ice cream in a cone, where I always eat from the bottom up--I eat the cone first and then the ice cream at the top. It always makes for an interesting and slightly harrowing experience making sure I don't drop my ice-cream. I wouldn't have it any other way!
Edited to add--definitely veggies first then carbs, then meat. If a meal contains all three, there is nothing more annoying (slight exaggeration) than getting to the last bite and being stuck with a veggie!0 -

Same here! Eating the edges first is best. Sometimes I make a tree shape by eating the corners next.0 -

I do the same only I don't eat the entire bar that way. I alternate between the whole bar and stripping some.
My favorite is to eat the layers of a Coffee Crisp and leave the middle coffee part for last.0 -
If I am eating more than one thing I have to eat at least two things in one bite. An example would be: if I am eating a burger and fries, I take a bite of my burger and than also put a fry in my mouth and eat that bite. I can't just eat a bite of the burger or a bite of fries. It has to be both. If I am eating spaghetti and garlic bread I have to take a bite of the spaghetti and a bite of the bread and chew it together.
And even though I do that, no food on my plate can touch until I mix the two things to eat them.0 -
In the order it's placed in front of me.. and fast! lol..
I really need to work on eating slower. : /0 -
Here another one that eat the edges or 'around' sandwiches, burgers (even pizzas) first... And I eat my favourite food of the plate at the endI like to mix it up-but my hubby always eats his veggies first, then his starch then the meat and our youngest son eats the same way:laugh: but when I eat a burger or snadwich I always eat the edges first (yes even if it is a round object I keep turning it) I got that from my mother

This reminds me of last nights dinner meal where we were trying to convince my nephew that the evil chunks of tomato in his spaghetti sauce would taste good. I've never heard whining that high. "But mom! The tomato is in chunks! I hate chunks!" I felt so bad for my sister who proceeded to try and remove all the 'chunks' from his dish. Of course, he starts eating and declares he likes these chunks. LOL. You can't win with kids.0

I take bites randomly from each item until I'm almost done. When I'm down to one bite of each thing on the plate, I eat those bites from least favorite to favorite, saving the best bite for last.0

That's really interesting! I should try that... Hmm...0
