I am so disgusted with my weight. Since May I have gained 30 lbs. I cannot not get motivated to do anything about it but I want too really bad. I need help with this because I cannot do it alone. I need support and encouragement and I hope to find someone who can help me with this.

Hi, I am in the same boat and just joined. I too have gained so much weight and am extremely upset with myself. You are more than welcome to add me. We can help motivate one another.0

Hi there!
Welcome to the MFP community! There are lots of people on here that are very positive and encouraging and have helped me:). I understand where you're coming from, but remember that just by joining you've already taken a step towards your goal, so don't feel disgusted and don't feel bad! One small step at a time. I'm adding you, feel free to accept my friend request.

You're not alone, this is a great place to start. I'm at the same point. I actually lost 50lbs and have recently gained back nearly all of it. It makes me angry and I can't get the motivation back.
This past week I've signed back on to MFP to watch my food journal and also bout a fitbit to encourage me to move a bit more. The pedometer has really helped me see Im not moving nearly enough to burn what I'm eating so its an eye opener.
Good Luck with your weight loss, you can do it. It's just harder then we think.0 -
You can learn a lot here, and you don't have to starve yourself to get results. At least that's what I've heard. I haven't had much in the way of results yet, but I'm struggling to let go of bad habits and be more accountable. Fall into step; hopefully we both can get 'er done.0

You are where you need to be in life, however that looks to you and on you. Please don't be so hard on yourself. I would like to suggest that you just keep looking for that motivation because one day, you will look back and notice that you actually found it! Keep going to the sites you like, put up photos of body's you admire and would like to get and when you are ready you can plot out your plan to get that body. I hope you have supportive family members and friends. That is super important!!! Positive vibes to you!!!!!!!!0

I've been there! In 2010, i was told by adr that i needed to lose 90 lbs, i laughed and said, "you want me to shed a9 yr old human? Ok!?", so i came home and hour on a scale, i seen that i was at 229, i was so ashamed that i didn't eat anything the rest of the day.. Well i them decided to tell my sisterinlaw and we decided to attempt the weightloss together, from march 25 ,'10 to October '10 i lost 54 lbs! I used taebo and walked 2 miles a night. I then got pregnant 5 months later and gained everything back, plus extra on the way!! So when my son turned 2 months old, i told myself i was going to lose this weight again! And so far, i lost 51 lbs by walking, taebo for cardio and recently started doing jillian Michaels 30 day shred, I've lost at least 8 inches in 14 days. Good luck to u and don't say "i will start 2 mar", cause 2 mar never comes.,0

Is there a meal plan to follow. When I select the 1200 calorie meal icon it just brings me to the fitness site. Do you make up your own meal plan or is there one to follow0
