Carb-Cycle Diet

I am looking to start my first week of Carb-Cycling on Sunday. Has anyone else had success with this type of diet?

    I'm doing carbohydrate backloading and have lost about 8 pounds over the past month.


    I think it's easier if you're active and lift weights though.
  • depends on where you are in terms of proximity to your ultimate goal. it's a fine tuning technique for most people--not necessary if you have a lot of weight to lose.

    It's fine if you prefer that method, there aren't any particular drawbacks or benefits, outside of personal preference.

    I am on my 5th week of Chris Powell's Carb Cycling program and am down 15 lbs. I really like it and find it very easy to stick with. Good luck to you!

    Hello! I am carb cycling also and in my 3rd week. So far since 10/1/12 I've lost 9.5lbs. I also am really liking it and can feel it working. Is anyone doing the shapers and shredders?
