Bump. I wanna know the answer to this too. I have horrible weekends.0

Not that this'll help you much but I'm crap on weekends so I don't eat my exercise cals during the week and save them so I don't have to worry so much at the weekends, I still try to be healthyish (no dominos or butter indian chicken and fried rice) but usually rack up about 2500 a day (mostly due to booze on sat and comfort food Sunday). This works for me, probably not the greatest approach but having weekends off keeps me sane.0

I suppose the question you should really be asking is - Why are weekends any different to weekdays?
To answer your question though, build up a surplus during the week and use it for your treats on Sat/Sun. :drinker:0 -
I use my phone to log...for me, it's not tough to stay on track. I just do it like I would throughout the week but through my phone. You can set up reminders to pop up and remind you if you haven't logged breakfast/lunch ect by a certain time-is that what you mean or do you mean food wise?0

Don't think of it as a day off. Plan your meals just like you would Monday through Friday. Have things on hand that are healthy and easy to make or grab on the go. And exercise if you can to earn extra calories for the indulgences.0

Also, Im very guilty about not getting my water in on the weekends so as soon as I feel hunger, I drink a full 16-24 ounces then eat if Im still hungry.0 -
I weigh in on Sunday mornings this keeps me accountable. Everytime I think about junky food on Friday or Saturday I think Oh No I gotta step on that damn scale soon.0

^ This!
I was terrible at weekends too, until I started asking myself this. Find out what is sabotaging you and make a plan to give yourself a little room so you don't go overboard.
Also, realize that you have to give yourself some room to breathe—if one day a week you're feeling tired, no motivation, give yourself some space and indulge in something or pamper yourself, take a rest from being so obsessive about it. Get your energy back up to start again. If it is Saturday, Sunday, or Thursday.... doesn't matter!0 -
I give myself one day to cheat. eventually you dont want to even do that because of how bad it makes you feel so you stay on track! Good luck0

oh I like this idea Imay incoporate it into my weekends thanks0

is really hard to be in control on weekends, i have my bads and not so bads, but i made me my mind in this weekend after i put on some clothes that i haven't beacuse it doens't fit me, i said to myself this weekend you can't throw away all the work, so all the junkies food was out from the fridge and buy healthy snacks, put on some notes every time a tried to eat just because i'm bored or anxious.
i hope that help me!!!0 -
I continue to log even on the weekends, I usually eat more calories on the weekend but I also work out and burn more calories on the weekend. I try to never go over my 1400 calories plus my burned calories though. I would rather see the results on the scale then to just not do something simple as logging my food in.0

Hmmm, for me the weekends are actually easier. I have more time so it's easier to fit exercise into my schedule, and I have more time to plan the meals.0

Weekends are usually harder for me too so I try to get in some extra exercise. Last weekend we did hiking to make up for those sleep in days + pancake breakfasts. I'll have to think of something active to do Sunday because we are going to a wedding tomorrow and I know I am going to drink quite a few calories. :P0

I try to be super-good Sun through Thurs to make up for my Fri / Sat which usually includes liquor and dine-outs. I also work out first thing in the morning on Friday and Saturday to EARN extra calories.0
