    Would you consider peanut butter as savory? Good way to add protein to Oatmeal. It melts in pretty good in hot oatmeal.

    I've never posted in the community before, but I LOVE savory oatmeal and had to share. Try topping your oatmeal (made with water, I've never tried this with any milk involved) with:
    a sunny side up egg (the runny yolk is crucial!)
    chopped green onions
    as much sriracha as you can handle
    drizzle of soy sauce

    SO GOOD. My husband can't get down with the idea of savory oatmeal but I think this is delicious. And I love it as a way to get some extra protein at breakfast :)

    The comment about checking out theoatmealartist.blogspot.com is right. I have been enjoying many different oatmeal breakfasts since hearing about that website. This morning I enjoyed sweet potato cranberry oatmeal. Yum!

    My favorite is with a pat of butter, salt, and pepper. Sometimes I get crazy and put Louisiana Hot Sauce on it ! ! MMMMmmmm....

    That's all i put in my oatmeal now, and it definitely helps fill the stomach.
