When do you weigh yourself?

I weigh myself every morning, about 10 minutes after I wake up and walk around a bit, but before breakfast. It's a static number that is not influenced by what I ate at lunch, or how much I sweated during my exercise. So it's a good number to record. I also weigh myself in the evenings on occasion, but only to see how much difference there is after a long exercise session or something. Not to record.0

I weigh in the morning after I use the bathroom0

I weigh myself daily in the am and use the physics diet log to determine my moving average weight which helps filter out the noise that the daily weighs create. The logs lets me know that I am still in a weight loss trend. The daily ups and downs are just noise based on how much I ate or drank the day before and how much or how little of it left my body.

I'm too impatient to weigh in every two weeks, but that would also help filter out the noise, but if you start loosing very slowly you might still see some noise from water retention.0 -
My morning to night weight only varies by about 1-2 pounds. If the variance jumps higher than that I know I need to back off the sodium.
So I guess my answer is: I weigh myself all the dang time because I'm slightly obsessive.0 -
Sunday mornings after you use the restroom and before you eat or drink anything. Naked.0

I belong to a diet group (biggest losers) at work and we weigh in every Tuesday. Sometimes, I weigh in more often to make sure I am staying on track.0

Its best to weigh yourself in the mornings to get a true weight , but its better to be consistant with a time of day and week. Everyday is too much as your body will hold water different depending on your intake that day. I do bi weekly weigh ins and record them on my log on here. I also have a health scale that shows my water weight, bmi , bone mass weight and my goal with pounds lost/gained. I find it to be more helpful because if i had gained a pound it will show up in the water weight if thats the case . I do wed mornings and saturday mornings hope it helps0

I weigh every morning naked after I go to the bathroom. I use a withings scale and trendweight.com to track my moving average weight. If you have a wifi scale (fitbit scale works also) I highly recommend that site. I follow the hacker's diet approach.0 -

I weigh myself in the mornings before breakfast and water and in the same clothing (underwear and a bra) everyday because I figure that will give me a very accurate picture of what I'm doing. Even if the weight isn't right, the weight loss will be.0 -
I weigh myself at the health center at work (they have a good, accurate scale I trust) every Monday morning before breakfast and I always take the same clothing to change into so I take out that variable (obviously can't do it naked at work lol). I like doing it weekly because of the daily fluctuations from water weight, whatever I ate that day and hormonal changes, so I find that by the end of the week everything seems to even out.
I don't even keep a scale at home so I can't obsess over it, otherwise I'd be on the damn thing all the time and would have created a complex months ago and driven myself into the looney house with fret and worry when I should just be focused on working out and eating proper and tape measurements rather than the scale.0 -
Every morning at 8am after I've peed, no clothes on.0

I weigh myself in the AM before I eat, everyday. I gain weight so easily that I need to make sure I don't start gaining a lot by the next weigh in. Also, that way I know how eating different foods effect my weight0
-
Every 2 days.... Because the weight can effect my Calories Burned and my Calories intake. So, I have to watch it carefully. I also have a FITBIT that feeds off the most current information.0
-
Every morning as soon as I wake up.
I probably shouldn't do it as much as I do though.0 -
For me it's first thing Sunday morning, but I don't think it matters as long as your consistent. And consistent with the scale and where it's placed also - I never weigh the same at the Y as I do at home even 15 minutes later.0
-
Weigh myself on Monday mornings.. then I can set myself up for the week0
-
Every couple of days at the gym, after a workout. I need new scales at my house. I can understand the point of weighing yourself in the morning each day, but my self esteem is already very low and if I get let down, I may get very upset.0
-
I weigh myself every 3 days and when I just woke up in the morning.0
-
first thing in the morning after doing a pee pee0

I find myself obsessing about the numbers on the scale, weighing daily. :ohwell:
My diet buddy constantly reminds me that I need to focus on the whole package..ie..excercise, nutrition, and self image not just the number. She is the best support system I could ever hope for.
I am trying for the weekly weigh in...so had hubby hide the scale to help break my obsessive habit!0 -
Once a week, Saturday morning.
Any more than that I would risk demotivating myself as fluctuations happen that I may perceive negatively--which affects motivation!
Once a week shows progress every time!!0 -
I'd like to weigh every monday morning before breakfast.... but my bowel is pretty slow -_-'
so I weigh myself any morning I poop early XD0 -
I weigh in once a month. Too much emphasis is placed on the scale. I prefer to gauge it with how my clothes fit and measurement.0
-
Every Saturday morning as soon as I have got up and been to the loo for a tiddle0
-
Every Monday morning, but I think I will start weighing every other Monday instead.0
-
I weight myself first thing in the morning... and only on 1 scale (I don't weigh myself on the scale at my gym or elsewhere). Sometimes I do it every day, sometimes I wait a few days.0
-
I weigh in every saturday as soon as i wake up n get out of the toilet so far lost 7kgs0
-
Sunday mornings after I pee and before I have my coffee.0
-
Always in the morning, usually one day as close to mid-week as I can get! (My days off work change quite a bit)0
-
Monday morning like clockwork!
Wait...it's Sunday night. Eeek!!! hahah
I feel a lot less bloated in the morning as opposed to the arvo. Also I don't have any food, aka extra pounds hanging around my digestive system when weighing in on an empty stomach0
