Hi all. I haven't ever really been active on the forums, but Ive lost weight with mfp for about half a year.
I'm sorry if there's already a topic about this, but I was just wondering if anyone else here still feels as if they look exactly the same as when they started losing weight? I can tell I'm leaner, but I still feel really, really huge.
I'm not exactly sure how much I weighed at most, but I'm guessing it was around 105-110 kg(around 240 pounds) and I now weigh about 85kg(187 pounds) and I`m 174 cm tall. I know I'm nowhere near my ideal weight range yet, but I've lost a great deal of weight and somehow I still feel exactly the same as when I started out, which sucks because I've put a lot of effort into this. I know this might sound like a girly thing but I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way?
I'm also getting really frustrated because I'm starting to feel as if I'll never be happy about my weight. Comparing myself to others my age and height I should at least weigh around 65 kilos to look normal(?). Argh. Not another 20 kilos?! I never expected to look skinny at this weight, but I was hoping I would feel different than when I started doing this. Instead of feeling proud of my progress I'm just angry at myself for not having lost enough.
Sorry about the long post D:

I feel the same. Ive gone from 205 to 170. But when I look in the mirror I look even fatter than I was before. I dont get it.
  • Its really disappointing! I bet everyone notices the difference, but that doesn`t really help when you feel bigger than ever AFTER you`ve lost weight. ugh
