Ok, I knew I had "gained a little weight" since I quit smoking a couple years ago. Last week I decided to download MFP app When I bought a scale this afternoon I was surprised that I am about 40 pounds overweight! No wonder I was becoming disgusted with the size of my belly. These boards seem to be a great place to be encouraged and not get discouraged. Hoping to cheer folks on and get cheered on with this endeavor. I don't want to battle my weight, I want to kick it's butt!

    I am about 8 kgs over weight, from last year i have put on 6.5kgs. Its a day to day thing for me at the minute.
    I lost 2kgs last week. I am aiming for about .5kg per wk. I want to be 70kg by xmas.
    My friends who lost alot of weight said to me, its all in the walking and water.
