Keep losing fat and maintaining muscle mass until they appear.

And you'll likely need to get way lighter than you ever thought to see them.
  • Spot reduction does not work, keep burning fat, building lean muscle and after a lot of dedication they will appear.
Also diet is very important - Abs are mainly made in the kitchen:)

What they said. You have to attain a very low body fat level to get a six pack, down into or very close to the unhealthy range.

Abs are made in the kitchen! 80% diet 20% exercise. The best way to bring out your abd is to cut certain foods out of your diet like beer, carbs and dairy.

This exactly. Don't be suprised if you end up 20 lbs lighter then you thought you would have to go.

There is no need to cut out specific foods.

To the ladies out there who HAVE managed to achieve great abs, and judging by your photos, there are many...what is your BF%? I'm thinking 18% might be the magic number, but would love to put some proof to that.

MFP has 89 g of fat allocated per day-- anyone recommend a lower amount or is that one on the money? MFP is awesome but not perfect
