Just curious ESP. with people who have lost/are losing a lot of weight, did you snore a lot , did you start snoring less as you lost weight and when/ how much did you lose before you noticed a difference?

Same question about peeing, did you pee more when you were heavier and did it go to a more normal level after losing weight?

That title cracked me up! Snoring- I don't know if I snore now or before. I do know my husband is snoring less now that he has lost some weight. As for peeing, I pee more now because I drink way more water than I did before!

ME! Holy crap is it me. I used to snore so loud that my boyfriend couldn't sleep all night. I didn't even believe it until he videotaped it and then I just felt awful. I tried the Breathe Right strips, some kind of spray, nothing worked. After I lost about 40 pounds, I realized my boyfriend hadn't complained about it or shaken me awake in quite a while, so I asked him if I'd been snoring any less since I lost weight. He said, "I haven't noticed." I was a little let down but he stopped me and said, "No, that's a good thing! I haven't even thought about it because it hasn't been bothering me. That means you must have stopped because I'm not waking up anymore."

I am hoping the snoring gets quieter and maybe even goes away altogether. At least I have hope for that.

I know if your drinking more water you might pee more, but I was thinking like for me I have the urge to pee a lot even when I don't necessarily pee a lot in volume. I'm hoping as my stomach gets smaller it won't press on my bladder as much and I won't have the urge to pee even when my bladder isn't full.

I have lost over 7 stone in 6 months. I used to snore really badly, it even ruined a romantic weekend away in Paris. Now I hardly snore at all. I even used to hear myself snore but no more.

Pee....amount hasn't changed but direction oddly has!!!

My husband lost 20 pounds recently, and he wasn't even all that overweight to begin with (about 18% body fat), and his snoring is much, much improved. It got to the point where I would sleep in the guest room because even ear plugs weren't enough to block out his snoring.

Now, he snores on occasion, but not every night and not nearly as loud as he used to. He is at about 12-14% body fat now.

My friend has something called Interstitial Cystitis. It is not very well known. Basically, any high acid, salty food sends her bladder into convulsions and she has the feeling of needing to pee when she really doesn't. When her IC acts up, it can be painful cramping. If this describes you, you may want to talk to a doctor who is knowledgable with IC.

SO if you eat anything acid like, (oranges, OJ, cranberry juice, salty including "soft water", most oriental sauces like soy or teriyaki, deli meats, breakfast sausage, Vitamin C, EmergenC....) and you start to feel cramping or feel the need to pee even though you don't have to actually pee, it may be an indicator of IC.

YOu should go to the doctor regardless because you should be checked for any bladder infections.

Here is an IC website in case you need it. http://www.interstitial-cystitis-alternatives.org/

I was starting to become a snorer before joining here. Now I only snore if I have a sinus thing going on.

I drink so much water now, I feel like I'm always peeing.

My ex was a snorer... however it wasn't due to his weight because he was in shape.
He snored because he drank.... A LOT!
He was hot, but I had to fire him for the drinking....
(Note to y'all: anyone who pours rum on Cheerios may have a drinking problem....)

I am still snoring according to hubby. But I started peeing a lot when I started drinking so much water every day. That hasn't stopped yet.
