What do you do if the tracker gives incorrect calories?

I found that it said my ice cream was way more calories than what was printed on the container. Even when I entered the servings from the container, it was still more than the label.

When you look up the calories, before you enter them, you should be able to click "see nutrition" and make edits from there.

sometimes what is put on here isnt correct. like you can pull up a starbucks coffee and there will be like 50 different entries and half of them are wrong. you just either have to go thru to find the one that is correct or add it in yourself.

That is what I do, then it's in my recent food thing and I use it from there next time. My friend just goes by how many people have confirmed it and uses that one.

You also need to be very careful on the other end of the spectrum. For example, when I run for 30 mins this program calculates over 600 calories but my heart rate monitor tells me 297. Of course, I follow the HRM and overwrite what MFP tells me.

I got tired of counting points. I still go to the WW meetings but this is something new and fun to do.
At my weight (197) I find the exercise database is really accurate. I just got a HRM and MFP is only off by a few calories, but that's only with the elliptical, 30DS & BFBM.

I had to give up my WW, so it is really nice that this place is here to track and figure things out.

I still follow the WW plan on here, even though I stopped attending the meetings.
