Lots to lose, looking for friends.

I joined this site a long time ago, but never really used it. After coming back and looking at it again, I don't think I really realized how much it had to offer. So here I am!

I'm 36 and have around 100 pounds to lose. I am looking for some support along the way. People to keep in touch with, talk to, get advice from, support each other, and maybe have a laugh or two along the way.

I'm dedicated to this. I'm signed up for a 5k race on New Year's day and would like to be down 20 pounds by then so that I know I'll fit into the jacket size I ordered.

I started running in August and have kept it up at a minimum of 3 times per week. I'm up to 22 min at a time now, (about 2.5 km), and when I started I couldn't hardly do 1 min.

So now it's time to get serious with the eating, etc as well.
