Hi to everyone,
just started to watch the weight and this website has been fab. i did not realise how much i was eating at all, till i started to log the foods. i am desperately trying not to get on the scales (i have only started on wednesday) but i feel lighter and better. and hey i got energy!
at this moment i have just been diagnosed with an illness and have undergone 2 surgeries in the past 6 weeks. so no excercise as yet.i am hoping to keep to this healthy eating style even when the second part of my treatment kicks in.
thank you fitness pal.

Welcome aboard! Here's wishing you a speedy recovery!

Stay commited to the long term goals this program teaches and you will do great - it was hard for me to realize the foolishness of fad diets until I realized how often I found myself right back where I started a few months after losing weight...the only truth about weight loss is that you have "burn more than you earn"...not great in finance, but perfect for weight loss! Good luck!
  • You're in my prayers for your speedy recovery...one step at a time will do it....I think it is great that you joined MFP. We are here to support you and each other...God Bless!!!
