Generally protein is counted fairly low on MFP so I would say c) not bad at all.
(if that by -30 you mean you are in the red with your protein, that you have eaten over MFPs limit - if you are under MFP's limit, that might not be so great.)

How many grams of protein?, how much do you weigh?0

eat +30 tomorrow, just try to get averages. Less calories is definitely better than less protein, so if that what you got to do some days, then do it.0

I weigh 222.9Ibs and it is a red -30 on today's food tracker thing - I'm new to this and haven't spent any time finding out what I should be doing other than 1400 a day (which is quite enough to focus the mind).0

I think protein is supposed to keep you fuller for longer - sort of like the low GI idea. Keeps you on a more even keel. Well done for staying under your calorie goal. Once you've got that sussed, you may notice that you are less hungrier on higher protein days: if so, then you've got another tool to use.0

This. MFPs protein goal is too low for me, I have manually set mine.
So it's D) no big deal.0 -
protien fills you up a lot more than carbs or fat of the same amount of calories.
that makes them good, protein helps build muscle so having too much is not a bad thing at all0 -
I still have a way to go, I've combed the boards and read a few articles and came up with that I should be eating about 1 gram per lb of goal weight. I believe some people will eat about 1 g per lb of lean body mass.
I'm far from an expert but it seems that 30 grams is a bit low.0 -
How many grams did you get?
your food diary is private.
You can change your settings as well
MFP IS notoriously low on the protein setting
I aim for 100 to 120g a day0 -
