Hello to all! I am Dominic. A friend told me about this site. Looks very promising. I am from northeast Indiana. Looking to lose weight and gain some muscle back. I use to work and lift weights but over the past 6yrs or so I have slacked off and gained a few pounds. I recently joined the gym and have been going 2-3 days a week. I have been doing 20 min on excercise bike and approx an hour with weights. I am open to all ideas and help. Good luck to all

    Welcome to MFP Dominic!

I'm originally from Indiana too, but the opposite end of the state in the Evansville area. I've been living the North West U.S. for many years now though.

Good luck! This site can get addicting, especially if you join some motivational groups and make friends.

    Hi Abigale,

    Welcome to MFP!

I think you will find all the encouragement you need from this site. It is the best site that I have found on the internet. Since starting about three weeks ago, I have been able to lose 5 pounds. Tracking my calories has been the most positive thing I have ever done since trying to lose my weight.

Feel free to add me as a friend and I will help out in any way I can. I love to cook and have been looking for healthy recipes and I will be happy to share them with you.

    Good luck on your journey!!!

That's hillarious! I went back for my grandmother's funeral this year my hometown hadn't changed much at all, except there were more stop lights.
