I have a hard time with being okay with calories when everything in me says cut back Im eating too much. I just dont have an appetite.0

Do you think that you purposely starve yourself? Or you just don't feel like eating?0

Eat foods like peanut butter & nuts. If you eat anything that is lo-cal or low fat switch to full fat. ex. Drink whole milk instead of skim.0

I've struggled with anorexia when I was younger am sure thats probably a lot to do with it. But I'm trying to be healthier because I'm getting older and I just didnt have energy to do stuff with my kids and husband. So I started exercising this year and Im not overweight by much but I would like to be stronger and healther and have more self esteem. But when my weight stayed the same no matter the exercise several people told me to start logging meals to see exactly how much Im taking in.Obviously not enough.0

try to get all your calories, every day! i have the same problem sometimes.but, make yourself eat!
Nutella! it's a lifesaver! and i know that it might be silly sitting on your counter at 8 o'clock at night with your tbls of nutella trying to get those last 500 or so calories in.. but, it's worth it!!0 -
I had the same problem too. I hardly eat breakfast and i'm always go go go with a child. It may take some time to get use to the system of tracking calories, but in a week or so you'll be back to normal. I would suggest opening up your diary as well. I asked the same question on here and I got great advice because I opened it Hang in there!0

I understand where you're coming from. Granted this sounds silly coming from an overweight woman that clearly knows how to eat. But since I've changed the type of foods I eat, I've been working on figuring out how to eat enough calories. The veggies just don't add up the way cookies and candy did. One thing that I've incorporated mainly to boost my protein, but also to add a few calories is protein shakes. I take a scoop of whey protein isolate, about a 1/4 cup of greek yogurt, most of a banana, and a 1/4 cup of almond milk to make a pretty tasty protein shake. It's good for me since I not only want to lose weight but also get stronger, so I need the protein. Not to mention it almost tastes like a banana milk shake so it's a treat compared to everything else I eat.0

Thanks for all the good advice I will try some of it and see if it helps. Eating more though Im trying to lose weight just doesnt add up with all you hear is cut back on calories.0

Our bodies require a certain calorie intake just to "sustain" our bodies/organs. That is called the BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)see link --> http://www.myfitnesspal.com/tools/bmr-calculator If your daily intake is too far below your BMR, your body slows down how it burns calories. It's a delicate balance between too much and too little. I let the site calculate my daily goal and it's worked for me so far. If it ever quits working, I will bump my intake up for a while and see what happens.0

I'm the same, can never seem to consume all my calories even when I eat healthy. I'm just not hungry!0
