There seem to be so many methods for calculating your calorie goal! Which is the best way to calculate how many calories I should be eating?

I would start with MFP's suggestion. Track your weight for a month, see if you lose how much you wanted feasibly and adjust accordingly.0

The reason there are so many different calculations is because we aren't all the same. What works for my mom and sister doesn't work for me. What works for me might work for you....but it might not. You just have to try what sounds right to you and if it's not working try something esle.0

The most accurate I found was the Mifflin St. Jeor calculator. Google it. None others came close to this one's accuracy. I'm seeing results now.0

Read up on the TDEE method, I changed to that and am losing much faster now. You can find info on here.0
