Does your pedometre let you set your stride length? If so, it should be able to tell you how many km you walked, not just steps. Based on your weight, you could then multiply calories per km by the distance you walked and get total calories burned. It's only going to be an approximation, but it should give you a good idea.
I'm in the US, where we still use stupid things like miles and pounds. The 'general' measurement is that a 150-pound person burns 100 calories per mile when walking at a moderate pace. Hopefully, you can translate this for metric. Good luck!0 -
thanks for your advice. I used to have one that measured your stride but this one only measures steps and it has a sensitivity - + button to adjust. I was dissapointed that it wasnt as good as my old one when i opened it up0
