Never eat Spinach with Tofu?

Today while I was eating out, my family told me that I shouldn't mix those two together. Personally I don't believe that but they are insist on this. I have google it and only found a few sites on this subject. It is a myth, right?

    I nearly ALWAYS eat spinach with tofu. I cook it with garlic and a teeny bit of canola oil (1/2 tsp).

    I have never heard that you shouldn't eat the two together.

    People only say that because tofu is a good source of calcium and spinach has oxalic acid in it which blocks the absorption of the calcium..but I still eat them together :D Just did like 5 minutes ago haha.
