Need breakfast protein ideas!

Options
I eat breakfast every morning but unless I'm having eggs I really don't know what other proteins to have.

The traditional breakfast proteins - bacon (turkey, regular), Canadian bacon, etc all have way too much sodium for me as I'm trying to keep my sodium low.

Any other ideas?

Greek yogurt topped with chopped almonds and some honey is a good choice. I also like to hard boil eggs for easy grab and go some days. You can also think outside the breakfast box and make quinoa with fruit (instead of oatmeal) or sliced meat and cheese.

I have overnight oats, about 55-60g of protein and less than 200mg sodium depends how you make it. Check my diary for the specifics tweak as you like.

have a white egg veggie omelet...some times with chicken or pork in it....yummy. A protein shake with berries, cottage cheese with fruit is good. Fage yogurt is a good one without a bunch of added junk in it....you can add your own fruit to it.

    A protein shake

Yup, I take half a scoop Body Fortress or drink half of the GNC Lean shake and save the rest for later. Gives me about 13g protein at only 85 calories, 3 grams sugar and carbs.

I don't even think of it as breakfast or part of my meal, its more of a morning routine along with taking my multi. Protein in the morning keeps me feeling full...whereas I can eat fruit or a cereal bar at more calories and be ravenous within the hour.

I have a protein shakes every morning for breakfast. My latest favorite is:
6 oz. unsweetened chocolate almond milk
1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
    1/2 banana
    1 tbsp. PB2
It is super good, keep me full for hours, and makes me feel like I'm having a treat for breakfast :-)

If you're a morning person and do your AM workouts, protein shakes are great. Protein Pancakes are always delicious and taste like your eating bad, but you're not (Egg Whites, Flax, Blueberries, Protein Powder) Peanut Butter... Gah. I love breakfast.
