I love making "ice cream" out of frozen bananas. If you haven't seen the recipe around, it's a quick google search. Basically, just throw some frozen bananas in a blender and add some vanilla and honey. I like adding a little peanut butter or cocoa powder too. It has the same texture as ice cream but without the guilt.0

you know, if you eat too little your period stops......It worked for me. Just saying.
If this isn't bad advice, I don't know what is.0 -

your goal BMI is 16.5. a woman is considered underweight if her BMI value is anywhere between 16.5 and 18.4. Below 16.5 is typically regarded as severely underweight.
your current BMI is 20.4 which is healthy.
if your periods really did stop, you are damaging your body. thats sad. not really something to be proud of and possibly devastating in the future when you cant have kids.
I hope you are a troll, making jokes about anorexia, cause as unfunny at that is, the other option is like a slow motion train crash for your loved ones.0 -
A cup of dessert tea works for me most of the time.0

special k chocolate delight cereal lol.0

ugh, people like you are the reason why I was worried about joining mfp in the first place. If you're struggling don't go around giving out crappy advice because some people like me will find it really triggering.
To the op- hot chocolate with water and a splash of milk (same ratio of water/milk as you would with a cup of tea!)0 -
I have my favorite treat, I just plan for it. I like chocolate chip Klondike bar, only 250 cal.0

dark chocolate0

Yea... that's not good. That's dangerous. I lost my periods for a year (around a BMI between 18-19) and I don't know if I'll have kids (my periods have returned though).0 -
During those times, I make sure have enough calories left in the evening to have 1 reeses big cup (thats what I crave anyway) its 200 calories and yes the fat isnt ideal, but I know that 1 is just enough to take care of the craving for that day, and if I allow myself a couple in a month I don't see that as a bad thing. I've tried eating something else and it just doesnt work the same lol The main thing I've changed is that now, instead of having a glass of milk with one, I drink water.0

I always have Nuetella on hand, especially for my TOM. I will add nuetella to bread, strawberries or bananas and it really helps satisfy my sweet tooth. Sometimes I will also have a few chocolate chips, the semi-sweet ones and that helps too.0

Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches! YUMMY! And only 150 calories!0

I go for Tesco Light Choices desserts or the Yoo Moo frozen yogart which is lovely, especially the chocolate one. I also have a "cheat" with a cuppa and a Weight Watchers caramel bar or even the Slimfat chocolate bar which tastes exactly like a Mars bar!0

Just throw in some sesame seeds and jaggery together with almonds and raisins! Super cool, full of anti oxidants.0

OR

Low fat cottage cheese and sugar free jelly!! If u go by serving sizes its only 100 calories0

Make a smoothie with frozen fruit (I love the fiesta blend...Strawberries, pineapple, and mango) with almond milk and greek yogurt. If you add a little extra fruit, you can eat it with a spoon so it feels like ice cream Yum, I want one now.0

Sometimes during that special time of month, I just eat the thing that I was craving (in moderation of course). It doesnt usually set me back too far, as long as I only do it once per period.0
-
frozen grapes!! or a really sweet apple.0

Wow, don't give out advice if you're being serious about this. Not having a period is a very BAD sign. I used to weigh 85 pounds and my period was gone and it worried the hell out of my Mother. You NEED a period.0 -
Fruit is always a good choice for something sweet. Strawberries, raspberries and red grapes are my favorite, and they're sweet enough. There are low-fat ice creams that are really good and have only 100 - 150 calories and no more than 3 grams of fat. Even a serving of chocolate chips could do. There's about 70 calories in them, and if you choose dark chocolate, they're not too bad for you, either.
There's also these Fiber One brownies that have only 90 calories per brownie and they're so good.0 -
peanut butter and honey on a rice cake

I do this all of the time, just not during Shark Week, but I buy one of the nicer bars of chocolate, and break it into quarter servings. That way, I still get delicious chocolate, but it's only 45-55 calories. This seems to work pretty well for me to keep the cravings at bay.0

I have something sweet every day! Usually a banana because I love them, but today I had Oikos Blueberry (on the bottom) yogurt. I made Halloween cookies this weekend, so I might have one of those (90 calories) or 3 mini brownie bites (170 calories) if there's room in my day for them. One pumpkin brownie for 117 calories. I also have a stock of Healthy Choice Greek Frozen Yogurt (blueberry and strawberry) in the freezer that are phenomenal and 100 calories. Obviously I'm not about restricting a ton of stuff from my diet and I'm certainly not a clean eater, but I eat smaller portions and make smartER choices, so it's working for me.0

Agreed, if you are not getting your period because are not eating enough it is because your body doesn't have the resources and it NEEDS those resources. Periods are a nuisance but they flush out our body.0 -
Sweets are my downfall... If I know I'm having a craving day, then I try to plan it into my calorie goals. Yes, I eat ice cream a lot!
My absolute favorite dessert currently:
1 cup of sliced strawberries (fresh is best, but I've found some no sugar added frozen ones too)
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1 TBSP of dark chocolate dessert topping (I like Smuckers)
This all adds up to about 210 calories which may be a big chunk for some, but it is so sinfully delicious that it feels like it should be way more calories than it is!
I also like TCBY fudge bars (80 calories)0 -
dark chocolate
YES!! I get one that is 99% cocoa! It's by Lindt and 1 - 2 square is more than enough to satisfy especially with a hot cup of tea
Editing to add* I'm sorry I missed the idiocy that went on! Looks like the perp removed herself! LOL0
