Good one; however, my reading comprehension skills led me to believe that that wasn't the message at all. ::scratches head::

Women will get bulky lifting heavy so let's use barbie doll pink 3 pounds weights and then get upset when we don't see results.

HaHa I was gonna say something very similar to this so I will just add a point; Only use 3lb weights and only do 1 set of 15 reps

Eggs are not bad for you. They are actually one of the better foods to eat. Easy to carry and lots of protien.

There is? Then why can't I find them in my peer reviewed medical journals? You must be reading those alarmist lets make stuff up journals...

Seriously, gluten only needs to be avoided by people with celiac, which, contrary to alarmist everywhere, is actually pretty rare. Meat and dairy are staples humans have eaten for thousands of years (well, millions for meat.) The scientific consensus are they are not to be avoided, other than people with intolerances, which is common for some dairy, rare for meat and eggs. Soy, again, the vast majority of research goes on and on about how it lowers risk of cancer, why should we avoid it again? Wine, good for the heart, also the alcohol is good for cholesterol and insulin sensitivity. Sugar is just a carb, no different than any other carb. And if you avoid sugar, please tell me you don't eat fruit, as that's concentrated sugar...

I think this post may have hit on every silly food myth I can think of...

...and is, therefore, an appropriate post to fall under this thread title!

(I'm sorry you spent so much time debunking myths that I don't believe in. I can honestly say that I consume everything (soy beans excepted) on that list DAILY.)

NEGATIVE calorie foods. Like celery. If you eat celery you not only DON'T consume calories BUT the energy needed to eat the celery will actually put you in NEGATIVE calories for the day.

I'm lifting weights so I've decided I need a protein shake.

Now without looking at my diary, knowing any of my stats, current macro intake, budget or country of residence... which one should I buy?

    answer:

buy "Joe Meathead's Super Ultra Muscle Pump" protein shake. i recommend the "Hulk Smash Puny Human" flavor with extra fishy slush/juice added.
