I love languages and know three of them...however, my wife and younger bro and I have been using acronyms for years to speak in "code" way before the internet.

My fav is DILLAGAS....

    Yearrrrrrs ago there used to be a game you could play online called Acrophobia, the Fear of Acronyms.
    You'd start with 3 random letters and go up to 7, I think, and people would make suggestions of what that "acronym" stood for and then everyone playing got to vote for the best. I kinda miss it...

    WWW - last I heard it's the only acronym in the world where the acronym has more syllables than what it stands for.
