I actually kinda love Nickelback.... But kinda love them even more now...:blushing:
I liked them a lot, then I saw them in concert last summer and like them even more. Those guys can ROCK! (plus several of their songs have a great beat and are really motivating for me to run to)
I don't get all the Nickelback hate in the world...there are many, many groups and musicians that are MUCH less talented (and are still popular).

Interesting. I actually did not know that...but if they weren't making the label any money (even if they were originally signed due to that connection), they would have been dropped ages ago. Especially because they're way more hard rock than metal, and Roadrunner seems to mostly have metal bands on the label.
Disliking a band because you think they got a helping hand when they got started seems kinda silly. Tons of bands got started that way, some good, some bad. Everyone's got different taste...it just seems like there's extra hate for Nickelback...when there are A LOT worse bands out there...0 -

I know nothing about the band politics, all I know is their music sucks. hard. maybe it sounds good when you're drunk as **** sitting on the porch of your double wide, listening to your neighbours transistor radio, but even then brain damage would need to play a part.

There live show is pretty good though, but I won the tickets.

LOL, we have one station that promises that (No Nickelback guarentee). The rest play an excessive amount, maybe because we are only a few hours away from their hometown or because they are pop, and rock (the ones I listen to).0 -

I cannot find anything that directly related Darrel and Chad...only thing I see is that Darrel and Chad were friends.
