You'll find many posts on here that state the obvious: You didn't gain it in a month, you won't lose it in a month. In order to be healthy, you must make a lifestyle change. It's gradual but you will be much better for it.

I think that is way too much to lose in a month. Youd be better loseing gradually like 2 pounds per week that would be much healthier.

At the risk of incurring the wrath of 90% of people online ... lol
you could try Atkins, though if your very overweight there are health risks associated with your heart and colesterol and you will more than likely put most if not all of it back on the moment you stop doing it and possible more fat, etc.
what you could try is reduce cals to 1200 per day
and walk walk walk
3/4 times a week - aim for 3.5 miles (in 1 hour at end of second week) - on the third week you will notice a shape/tone change though you will see better results on 6th week
eat extra calories earned by the walk though or you will end up knawing your own arm off with the weakness and hunger :laugh: or your metabolism will grind to a halt and apart from the weight issues, you could make yourself ill
I can pass on some great low calorie snacks/receipes which are life savers if your serious about losing weight and toning up, which will make up for a lot in terms of wearing smart clothes for any occassion.
