Strength training at home

I need some tips/advice for strength training that i can do at home. I live quite far away from a gym and just using the treadmill is doing my head in! If anyone could help me out with some advice that would be great! Preferably advice that doesn't involve having to use too many weights and what not as i only have some small dumbells Thank you!

I have learned that using dumbbells amps up everything! Doing push UPS, sit UPS, squats, lunges, is using ur own body as resistance. Its easier if you have something to go by.0

You could get dumbbells and an adjustable bench and go a ways modifying the routine linked below for dumbbells, or you could google "you are your own gym" and go with bodyweight exercises.

Look up body weight exercises online. Lots of resources out there. I have an app that is called " You Are Your Own Gym". It has a ton exercises that are demonstrated in small videos. It is also a book.0

I do all of my working out at home. There are tons of DVD's and online resources that don't require you to leave the house!0

The following is a website (blogsite) full of amazing workouts. There's even a challenge going on at the moment with a full week's worth of workouts- there's an at home (h) version of each workout. Seriously, these things are great... the woman who designs the programs are great. Even if you don't want to follow the program directly, look around and see what kind of great workouts she offers.
