cutting & bulking cycles..

Anyone else feel like they gain fat & muscle, just to lose the same exact same fat & muscle on the cut cycle w/ no real progress?
How do you adress this? longer cycles? whats your average cycle length?

You won't, assuming your diet and training is setup properly.
A good rule of tumb is to bulk to 15% bf, and cut down to 10%0 -
Dieting less severely and with adequate protein intake along with not letting up on lifting should minimize muscle loss.
I am completely add and give each cycle 4 weeks or so. And I am still 25% bf so I have no business here!0 -

Depends on preference. I prefer body fat around 18-20%. I bulked around 23%, was only willing to put on 10lbs or so. I never really successfully "cut" (but I didn't gain much fat) just am working on a slow recomp.
This lady is probably 12%-14% in her before bulk and after cut photos.

My cuts are short, 4-6 weeks tops. My bulks are relatively long, 3-6 months depending on how much fat I gain.0
