Should be included as part of your activity level, surely?

if it's a normal part of your life, then don't count it. it's not more than you'd usually do. that would be taken into account when you describe yourself as sedentary or active.
    or wear a hrm.

I don't add mine even though I'm quite vigorous :)

There is a lady on my frends list that lists 20 minutes of 'fun' on a regular basis. To be honest i wouldt want everyone to know each and every time I have sex (both times a year) so i'd just bank those extra calories without recording them.

The only thing i'd eat back for those is.....

Thinking about how many calories I was burning/had just burnt would take away the fun for me...

No way. You could have all kinds of fun with it. Strap one to you and your partner, and turn it into a competition. Winner gets to call the other a dead lay for 24 hours. :D

I agree with this. While it is calorie burning, it's not a workout with purpose for metabolic or muscular adaptation. It won't change your fitness level. It's just part of normal every day life. It's easy to get caught up with counting every calorie, you need to draw the line somewhere. You couldn't count every time you took the stairs instead of the elevator. This just gets to be too much.
