Yup. It's my "serious" post. (Yeah I can be serious too!)

I notice some that are discouraged a bit 'cause results are slow to come. To them I say: "Wait, be stubborn and it will come".

I never was overweight. It came late with pill intake and a very unhealthy EX-relationship. Back eating healthy, I couldn't lose any weight. I was even wondering if those pills had screwed with my system. MFP showed me my "healthy" was still a bit too much... and that I CAN!

Confirmed today, I am glad to say that I am now 2 sizes down in my jeans and work pants!!! WOUHOU!

I still have a long journey ahead to get back to how I was, but I know better now and I know that somehow.. perhaps at my next trip south next year... i'll be rocking that bikini like I did back then!

Don't quit. It will happen.

  • Totally agree! I make sure to take progress pics so when I feel my motivation running low, I can see how far I've come and where I still want to go.
