My story & looking for workout buddy

Hey everyone

I have been a member for about 2 years but really only committed myself to fitness in February 2012. Luckily my boyfriend was up for the challenge and we have both been very successful. We signed up for weight watchers and together we have lost 120 lbs, 68 for him and 52 for me. Even though I had to work much harder than him it was all worth it and has really been great celebrating our success together.

The battle is far from over for us though. I was on track to hit my weight loss goal in September 2012 but was totally DERAILED when I decided to quit smoking. Luckily it wasn't as bad as I had expected but I did do some damage that month. I had stopped working out because I felt tired, it was too cold to go for bike rides and I was very loose with my eating. I gained 7 lbs as a result, which is very minor considering that some people gain all of their lost weight back. Right now I have 2 lbs to lose and then I will be where I was before I quit smoking.

I am at the point now where I want to lost this last 20 lbs by the end of the year. I have come to realize that Weight Watchers is a great plan for beginners but it will not get me to the end of this journey. Being able to eat all the fruit I wanted for zero points was helpful while quitting smoking but when I realized it was time to get back on track I knew that had to stop. I was going through 5 lbs of grapes a week! Who does that?! So now instead of just using myfitnesspal as a weight tracker I am also using it to keep track of my calories. I am back to weighing and measuring my portions and in the work out groove.

I am looking for people with similar goals to help me with my accountability. My friends and family mean well but don't give me the tough love I really need to meet my goal by the end of the year. They say things like "it's OK, you just quit smoking" or "don't be so hard on yourself". I'd really love to do some personal training sessions but can't afford it. Most gyms around here just have treadmills & weights, I have those at home. The gyms that do offer classes only have them when I am at work. So I am starting over with Jillian Michaels Body Revolution (I did it March - June but never completed all 3 phases). Anyone interested in being my online workout buddy?

P90X is a good program. I used it for 3 months for my 50th......I felt the best I have felt since my youth.
