When you weigh your food on the scale, do you include the utensils?0 -

you can put it on the plate and set the scale to zero first.
or the cup or whatever.
then you are weighing what is on the plate, or in the cup.
you dont need to weigh your knife and fork unless you plan on eating them.
was that even a real question?0 -
I just like being naked, I might be naked now
Hahaha love it.
I weight myself naked because like others said, less variables less margin of error. My losses are easier to track. Plus... Who doesn't want to be naked? :happy:0 -
I weigh naked because that's less stuff on the scale, and gets it closer to your truer weight.0

For me I weigh in the nude because what I wear to bed varies a lot in weight. In the winter I probably wear 3 lbs of clothing and in the summer I may only wear 1/2 to 1 lb of clothing.0

Interesting responses. My reason would be - consistency.0

Wow, that analogy just went right over your head.0 -
Because the scale is on the bathroom floor...right next to the shower.

yah, its a real question. yes you can zero out the utensil before putting food on it, and that's the answer -- you wouldn't include it w/ the weight of your food as you wouldn't get an accurate reading.0 -
I weigh myself in my jammies. There's no way in hell those clothes are adding weight to me. Most people here are working so hard and struggling for every ounce they can get. I can commiserate, but no need to think your clothes that you sleep in really weigh pounds. They don't.0

I will never manager to wear the same thing every time, naked is consistent. Also, if I have on clothes, I will easily convince myself that *I* didn't gain, I just have on heavier clothes today.0

It's titillating.
I like you.0 -
Because my scale is a perv and will give me a better number if I strip for him.

to weigh as little as possible - so also shave legs first, brush loose hair, breathe out, cut toenails
Seriously, it's just consistency - and obviously people who weigh naked want to know how much THEY weigh. Great thread, made me :bigsmile:0 -
Because we are all perverts. No, really, I just don't wear clothes to bed anyway, and if I did, I probably wouldn't wear the same thing every night, so there may be differences in the amount of weight each item carries. A better question: Why NOT weigh naked? :devil:0

1) I typically sleep in a t-shirt, sweatshirt, pants and socks. No joke, ask the husband (sexy, I know...)
2) Simply, I like to have a sec to see what I look like naked at the moment.
Consistency!0 -
I would have to remove too much body jewelry lol. Just add 1 lb for me lol0

CONSISTENCY! If you don't want to weigh yourself naked, wear the same shirt and pants everytime. Then you can't blame a fluctuation on the fact that you have a heavy sweater on that day, you know that it is all you.0
