Sorry, not very good at figuring this out... I ate half of a 1/3 cup of raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas). How many ounces or grams would that be?

You would need to use a scale and weigh them to know how much they weigh.0
-
ok, then how much is 1/3 cup when put into a cup? If you know what Im trying to say.. lol..0

Haven't seen any correlation between volume (cups) and weight. They're 1160 calories a cup. Half of a 1/3 of a cup (1/6th) is approximately 193 calories. See: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/bulk-food-raw-pumpkin-seeds-324454700

enter .330

well .33 of a cup would be 1/3 cup. I ate half the 1/3 cup, so would I enter .16?0

so 2.5 tablespoons about? Someone please correct me if thats wrong. Thanks for the help.0

I use this website .... http://www.veg-world.com/articles/cups.htm
Although I note it doesn't have pepitas.
But this http://www.personal-nutrition-guide.com/pumpkin-seeds-nutrition.html tells me a 1/4 of a cup is 175 cals...0 -
According to the USDA, 1 cup of pumpkin seeds = 129 grams.

Yes! This would work just fine.0 -
Hi there, I realize you got the answer you needed but here is what I do. I open the calculator on my computer whenever I am logging my food, that way I can always figure out the correct amount. ie 1/6 is 1 divided by 6 = .1667 It makes everything just a little faster, and a little less headache. Happy logging :drinker:0

I'd advise getting a scale. Using a measuring cup is asking for inaccuracy.0

I am not purposely being rude (though inevitably it will be taken that way), but I know that no one who answered just knew that off the top of their head. They used Google...or another search engine. Working on Googling skills does wonders for learning random things.
Google: calories 1 cup pumpkin seeds
or something similar. You'll get tons of results
ETA: I realize you were asking for a conversion, but doing something like this allows you to add it in on your own, if you don't have a scale and weight is hard to do.0 -
Try this site, if no one else has suggested it yet - look at the far right hand bottom pf the page, has a conversion widget.

I dont have a scale yet, I just started a couple weeks ago, but getting one is on my to do list. I tried googling, but was still getting confused. Thanks for the help everyone0

There is an app called Handy Converter that will convert just about everything you want!0

I was going to respond with basically the same exact thing.0
