Do you do it in inches? I've recently bought a tape measure and suddenly felt a little confused of what side to take the measurements from.

Where/how do you measure the waist and hips? I am bottom heavy, it has lumps here and there, and it's tough to measure the same spot everytime! :grumble:

I do my waist measurements at the belly button..hip is another story...I kinda just eye it

Our personal trainer was taught to take the hip measurement right at the hip bone at the front. I used to take it from the widest point, but she says that is measuring gluts. Measure both...if you are like me and want to see the glut inches go down as well!!!0

Inches - and I (sadly) make hubby do it. At least he doesn't know what I weigh!0
