Just started running outside (rather then treadmill) so would really like to get a running watch but have no clue what one I should get any recommendations?

Garmin Forerunner 10 - it's GREAT!!! If you go to their website you can see all it's features. My sister bought one and recommended it to me - and I am absolutely happy with it!0

Do you have a smart phone?
If so, get an app like Endomondo or Runkeeper, and save yourself some money.
I use Endomondo on my outdoor runs, and I love it!0 -
I have a Timex IronMan Run Trainer. It's not too bulky, has heart rate, GPS and it compiles loads of data ie, split times etc!!!
I would rate it at 7.5/10
