Fruit

I love fruit and am wondering how I should eat every day. I log it and it takes up most of my sugar but I know it's not the "bad" kind. Should I even consider it as part of my sugar intake?

my sugar is always over. I try to make sure its just from healthy foods, not bakery, etc.0

Well weight watchers says each serving of fruit is 1 point and veges are 0. Its not bad sugar but it does still count. But, it is easier to work off than say sugar from a candy bar.0

I count it, but I don't freak out if my big sugar numbers come from fruit. I still try to not go over by too much.0

Eat fruit, it is healthy. I have changed focus more towards calories:carbs:protein:sodium intake. But what you watch is your call.0

I eat about 3 servings of fruit a day, mainly with breakfast and snack...try to stick with lower sugar ones if you are concerned...strawberries, canteloupe, blueberries, etc0

I used to count it, but was sick of going over every day and having it be red, so I upped it to 75g a day. I still went over, so I got rid of tracking sugar and track fiber instead. It's bad because it's sugar, but you need fruit as part of a balanced diet. After a while of tracking it (once you realize your sugar habits) I would stop tracking it and track something else instead. I constantly switch it around just to be aware of what I'm consuming!0

Because most of my sugar comes from fruits, I just took sugar off from my nutrients tracked because it was always over. Instead I track sodium.0

You should never feel guilty eating fruit. Just choose the right ones and count the calories like you would any food. Choose fruits lower on the glycemic index. Here's a list for fruit.
