  • Lol it's not exactly accurate, but there is some truth to it. You burn calories daily just by exsisting which is you BMR. However if you pay attention to your breathing and breathe deeper you can burn extra calories. I had heard this once and tested it out while literally eating whatever I wanted and laying on the couch all day I still lost almost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Logically it made sense to me because when we do cardio we increase our oxygen intake so why not right? An increase in oxygen helps our blood to flush the fat faster, so deeper breathing means more oxygen that can help the body rid itself of fat and other toxins. The plus side is it helps you feel much more relaxed and refreshed-so go ahead give it a try...anytime you remember do deep breaths until you start to get a little dizzy and then return to normal breathing =)
