HI, I'm trying to learn how to eat better. I need some advice about carbs. If i eat whole wheat bread for lunch is that okay as long as I stay within my carb allowed range? ( I have mine set to 40/40/20). I've read about good carbs vs bad carbs and still unsure of how it works for weight loss. Thank you in advance.

As long as you stay between your macros your good doesnt matter when you eat them.. I know people that eat 1 meal a day consisting of 3000 calories..0

Carbs aren't bad it's just that they aren't very filling because they digest quickly. If bread fits in your budget and you aren't over eating then enjoy your bread.0

go to the library or bookstore or use google and do some research on basic nutrition.
answers you get here will just confuse you at this point.
you need a basic understanding and it will help you be an "expert" on these forums0 -
I find that the type of carb isn't really important so long as I keep my intake to my goal. I admit, I eat Salt & Vinegar chips at least once a week and peanut butter sandwiches every other day. I use the Franz European Rounds for the sandwiches (they have 100 calories, so no huge carb amount). The chips, on the other hand...
So, my point is that even though i do not deprive myself of those things I love, I still lose weight so long as I keep in my caloric range.0
