I am wondering if anyone uses the wii for exercise. If so what games do you use. I have heard a number of people use the wii fit board however weight limit does not cover me, any other suggestions besides this? If I can get a wii game I might be able to get my hubby to work out with me. (he won't go to the gym with me)

I like Wii Fit Plus but. Love all the Just Dance games. You dance and sweat and have a lot of fun while doing it. I can play with my kids for an hour and not even notice the time go by.
I have heard great things about EA Sports Active and Wii Zumba but I have no experience with either. As for the weight limit not covering you I don't think that matters, it isn't that accurate on mine, I trust my scale or my doctor's scale much more. I have tried the Kinect (Xbox) Just dance and loved that but I can't afford another game system.
Hope you find something you like!

Wii Fit requires you to use the board but you can do EA Sports Active without using the balance board and it is really a good workout program. There's a bunch of dance type games but other than flailing around they aren't much for strength training. Gold's Gym cardio is a good workout too if you like boxing!0

The My Fitness Coach: Cardio Workout game is a good one if you like boxing. No balance board needed and gives a great workout. (Actually I think this is the same as the Gold's Gym one mentioned above, just rebranded?)0

I have the EA Sports Active 2 game, it's great. I live in an appartment now, so I'm a little concerned about jumping up and down and running in my living room (although the lady who lives under me is kinda deaf , but the workout is amazing. I got it really cheap from ebay.0

I use Just Dance and sweat it out to 2000 sweat point a day!! Love it. Also have jillian michaels, and zumba for the wii. Both are ok. I have 2 left feet when it comes to zumba but am catching on.
Good luck finding something you love to do and sticking to it!!!0 -
Wii Fit Plus is great for low impact stuff. Especially the Yoga parts. You can also just kinda put together a workout.
EA Sports Active 2 is a better all around workout, plus it has training plans you can follow. Definitely better in the accountability department. However, it also has a tendency to glitch on some exercises, which was annoying.
The Wii Sports and Sports Resort as also good, so long as you don't sit in the chair and actually move around for the games. I loved the tennis game, because I used to play, so I'll actually get into it. My husband loves the Sword fighting one on Sports Resort. And table tennis.
I have Zumba Fitness, but I've never been a dancer, so this one is an iffy for me. It's definitely a good workout, though.0
