Lol, as your (not quite friendly) neighbor Michigan, I can appreciate this as well... and honestly I cannot stop laughing.0
-
That's pretty funny!!!
Just an fyi though, I live in Canada and we (usually) only get about 2 weeks worth of snow.. and most of that is only a couple centimeters. Thought I'd mention that 'cause for whatever reason a lot of people outside Canada seem to think we live in igloos and have penguins in the prairies ;p0 -
LOL. That's too funny.0

never saw that before - absolutely hysterical! thanks for sharing... (although you could swap "Canadian" with "Michigan" some years)... :laugh:0

I live in Canada as well and I am going to go out on a limb and say you do not live on the prairies, because we have snow right now ( a couple inches - i just shoveld this morning) and we will have snow well in to april - most winters the snow banks in my front yard end up being at least 4 feet high (I am 4'10 ish and they are almost bigger than me), the unshoveled portions are to my knees usually. Also come January I am fairly sure penguins do move into my back yard when we hit -50C before the wind chill lol I would live in an igloo though, those things are warm!
Honestly though, this is not at all what a car chase looks like there are more spinning and cars in the ditch0 -
Want a Canadian story?? This was actually in the news. How much more Canadian can you get?
Moose injures Mountie in clash of Canadian icons
A B.C. Mountie is tending to a bruised shoulder after going toe-to-hoof with a fellow icon of Canadian culture Thursday morning.
The Prince George RCMP officer was typing a report in his parked police cruiser at around 1 a.m. when he spotted two moose crossing a nearby intersection.
"The officer also observed an oncoming vehicle coming towards them," Cpl. Craig Douglass told CTV News. "He pulled his vehicle forward to intercept the vehicle and ensure the moose were okay."
That was a mistake.
One of the animals attacked the cruiser, breaking the front grill and bumper before climbing on top of the car. The moose's hooves broke the windshield and left dents on the roof and hood.
"It was stomping and kicking on the roof and one of the hooves slipped off and broke the driver's side window, striking the officer," Douglass said.
"The moose got its footing, or its hoofing I guess, and continued off the trunk of the vehicle."
The officer suffered a bruised left shoulder, but did not need medical attention. Authorities said he completed his shift and went home to recuperate.
The animals, described by Mounties as "culprit" and "accomplice," left the scene.
The RCMP says the incident serves as a reminder to the public to keep a safe distance from wild animals.
"Although they are likely more scared of people than we are of them, we believe our officer would disagree," the Prince George detachment said in a statement.0 -
