best snacks before a workout

Hi I was wondering whether anyone could kindly give me any tips on the best snacks or meal to have before a workout. I need lots of energy so I can exercise properly. Also anything without eggs please even though it's a good source of protein I can't stand them. Thanks:)

  • How about a banana or 12 raw almonds? There are loads of 100-calorie and 200-calorie food blocks in the back of the Insanity Elite Nutrition guide which are ideal for snacks as they're not too heavy. xx
