10 pounds to go - change goals to 1/2 lb per week?

Now that I have about 10 pounds to go, I changed my goals to a half pound per week. Is this recommended? That way it will come off slower, and therefore it will be harder to potentially put back on.

Yep, lots of people do it this way. It will come off slower but you'll also be closer to your maintenance intake so when you move to maintenance you'll be ready for it.

This is exactly what I would recommend. But start preparing yourself...
The last 10 pounds is a full out battle, and your goals will factor into how much of one. GOOD LUCK!

I didn'y change my goal til after I reached it..then SLOWLY added calories every 2 weeks. It took months to lose those last 10 lbs.0
