scanned barcode or pack info more accurate?

Hi,
New to this. Trying to gain weight on a strength training programme so using app to make sure I eat at least my daily calories.
I scanned in the barcode of a Sainsburys curry, but the calories reported back don't match whats shown on the pack. Which one is correct?

Thanks. I searched the food list and found another entry for the same product which had the correct calories on it, but shows n/a for the protein. This is my first day using this app but am I going to be disappointed with its data quality on foods?0

No the database is pretty accurate but it is user entered so there are errors.

Well that's two conflicting views now lol.
I have successfully edited the item so it has the data to match the pack.
Another question though - my daily summary showing very low on vitamins. Now is this because I haven't eaten any or is it because the data is missing from the items of food I have added?0 -
Nutrition facts label!! But you would think the bar code would be connected to the label unless the product database were not updated. If it were me, I would scan the code since it's quicker but quickly double check as to what your label says.0
