LOW CARB-ERS HELP!!

Is this pack of veg ok for low carb diet? Because it says the carb content is 8 grams per 3 table spoons, why is it so high?

I was going to eat it with chicken and Chinese stir fry sauce?

    Looks like just about half of those carbs are from Fiber which are typically subtracted from Carbs when eating low carb. I would eat them.

    Almost all veggies have carbs

    Most of the carbs are from Fiber or sugar from the sauce. You can remove the fiber from your total carb count. When you count carbs you take your total carbs and subtract the fiber to reach net carbs, those are what you count.

    I usually buy stuff without any sauce, it can add up if you eat things like a lot. Making your own sauces is usually pretty worthwhile and it's great practice!

    It's definitely acceptable as all the carbs would be from veg. When I did Atkins, I had to get 12-15 grams from veg every day, which was sometimes hard to hit.
