Girls just want to have fun..
ooooh girls, just wanna have fun.

No... actually, I think I'll record my own send off music. Choose a song just for that purpose so the last thing everyone hears from me is me singing some super depressing song that will make them ALL CRY!

    Damn right.

Maybe I'll sing this one: Remember my Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxRC_QkxwH8)

Because you should CRY at funerals. You should get it all out and sometimes, some people, need help.

First start off the "going away PARTY" with some slow jams....

    Draw me nearer -- Commissioned

Nearer my God, to Thee/Peace Be Still -- by some soulful singer

Dust in The Wind - Kansas

    Lifes Been Good-- Joe Walsh

Good Times - Michael Jackson/The Jacksons

We've only just begun -- The Carpenters

    Zoom -- Commodores

    Eminence front - The Who

Then get the party started right with:

I got Soul and I'm super Bad -- James Brown

I don't wanna go Home -- Jason Derulo

and a bunch of other loud/THUMPING jamming dance party music and a whole bunch of the yummiest foods & drinks EVER. All diets are to be officially postponed until AFTER I'm buried AND with the specific orders that there be ZERO sadness or tears, unless it's for themselves (cause they're still here and I'm with The Lord), and to reassure EVERYONE I'm in a much better place with Jesus/God and the saints and hopefully I'll see them again one day...in Glory!

:drinker:     :drinker:

    My Way - Frank Sinatra

i was wondering how long it would take for somebody to mention that. turns out... 4 pages.

the Sid Vicious version works too.

I'm adamant I don't want people to be sad, one of my dearest friends (much older than me) passed away a few years ago, he'd been a bit like a grandfather-my dad's best friend. He had a number of good songs played at his, Father and Son by Cat Stevens has always stuck with me though, as one of the most...suited. Everyone that loved him had an enormous party that night, people that hadn't seen one another for years-I'd care about THAT more than the song.

For myself, something like Tiny Dancer, by Elton John, it's always been weirdly special to me.
