Help me find recipes for 'normal eating'

Hey there! I'm trying to get used to eating a normal amount of food again, after eating 100 or less a day for a few months. As you can imagine, that's really warped my perception of food and recipes. However, I love to cook. I don't want to rush into things too quickly with eating, so I want some recipes that you all love in around the 100-250 calorie range, all meals wanted. Thanks!

Forgot to Mention: I don't eat red meat, including pork. I also try to limit my intakeof chicken and turkey, and too much of it makes me sick. I do,however, love eggs, fish, and exotic recipes.

You've been eating under 100 calories a day for about a month?

the only thing I can think of doing would be like a chicken breast and some veggies.

  • There are SO many wonderful things you could start off with. There are just too many for me to even try to name. If you go to the website, allrecipes.com, you can type in any food that you have a taste for, and dozens if not hundreds of recipes will come up.
Good luck - I think it's wonderful you are sharing your story with us and making the attempt to eat healthier.

I hope the OP means 100-250 calories a meal not a day. Still no good but better. Here's my filling low cal recipe I got off here.

    Moroccan Chicken & Lentils
    8oz baby carrots
    1 1/2 c lentils uncooked
1 1/2 lbs frozen breast tenders
    2 tbsp minced garlic
    3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp salt free moroccan rub (or 3/4 tsp tumeric, 1/2 tsp ground red pepper, 1/2tsp cinnamon)
2 (14.5oz) cans fat free reduced sodium chicken broth
Place all ingrediants (in order) in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high 5 hours or high 1 hour and then low for 7 hours

    6 (1 cup) servings - 240 cal/serving
