    Both have to do with other planet, wars between them. love, life, and getting through.

    I don't see how they can be compared.
    One was a tv series with some movies, the other is based strictly on movies.

    I don't see how you can compare them.

    While it's not "apples to oranges" it's more like comparing a red delicious to a granny smith.

    I liked star trek (next generation) because I was quite young when the first star wars movies came out and I wasn't into sci-fi. I was dragged into a 45 minute line to see a boring movie. The only movie I really enjoyed was the one with JarJar binks.
    Star trek next gen., I enjoyed watching with my bro-in law once a week.

    My thoughts exactly :love:

    Although...for me the scales tip slightly in favor of Star Trek because of all of the different series and a multitude of interesting characters...but I've been hooked on Star Wars since I saw it in the theater in 1977 (I had nightmares about them getting trapped in the trash chute for days, my mom was mad at my dad for taking me to see a "scary" movie).
