Pilates - Reformer

I have just started taking Pilates - Reformer classes to strengthen the core and become more flexible . After the first session, I really felt like I got a good workout. Has anyone trying to loose weight had experience with Pilates? In addition to the strengthening and flexibility, did it help you to loose weight? How often did you take Pilates?

    I used to do Pilates Mat 5-6 days a week and I lost a ton of weight. You need to exercise and do cardio as well. But when I was running and doing cardio machines at the gym and a full Pilates workout, I was lean, tone, and skinny! :) That's the workout I am going back to right now and it's already working again. Never should've stopped. Good luck!
