Clean Tatertot Hotdish

I've been eating pretty clean for the last three weeks or so, and I want to do a clean version of tatertot hotdish. One recipe I found was to just replace the tatertots with regular potatoes, but I try not to eat too many potatoes.

I can't think of a potato replacement, though.

Any ideas out there?

    I eat potatoes. Just not a lot. :)

    potatoes are only dirty till you scrub the dirt off them, then they are clean

    It is a tator tot hotdish because it has tator tots! It would just be a lie if you used anything else. How about a stuffing hotdish or a cheesy beef hotdish or a cheesy broccoli noodle hotdish... the list is never ending.

    This MN gal loves a good hotdish ;)

    when we make a tatertot dish - we use half the tots.
