I am doing the you tube program be fit in 90, but we are going to lose our power for a few days. Will not doing it for a few days (3-4) be bad? Can I just start up where I stopped and be OK? Will I lose muscle and gain fat from not exercising much for 3-4 days. I am scared and really want to do it, but I won't be able to. Help!

If I eat at 1200 calories a day, do you think I will stay the same?

Just do something else instead. You don't need power to do jumping jacks, or squats, or crunches, whatever... If you're that worried about it....

How about writing down the moves of the routine and the number or time. Like 30 seconds of jumping jacks or 20 squatsetc.?

There's plenty of other things you can do without that specific workout that would burn calories. Look up at home workout routines, body weight routines, etc.

have any of you skipped working out for a week and not lost muscle or gained weight? How long would I have to not do much exercise to look bad?

I once stopped working out for seven hours and lost all muscle mass and gained 132lbs of pure fat. True story.

seriously though, a week won't hurt, but as others have said, just insert home exercise of your choice to replace it until you get power back on. Even if you don't, unless you seriously belly up to the feeding trough, you aren't going to gain anything significant or lose anything in that time (unless you just starve yourself completely)

Age, muscle mass, gender, genetics in general all come in to play here. A couple of days won't hurt you, I take week long breaks every 7-8 weeks and don't notice any change. You're worrying yourself over nothing, the biggest thing? Make sure you get right back at it once your power is back on. Outside of that just eat as clean as possible and you'll be fine.

^^^ This. Lots you can do with just your body weight. Old fashioned push ups, sit ups, squats, lunges, dips, high knees, jumping jacks, bicycles, running in place....you get the idea.

Exactly this. You don't have to stop working out just because you don't have a video.

No, plenty of cavewomen went without food and exercise for a few days and lived to see a better day. What's even better is you don't have to go without food, and you can still work out. You'll be fine.

nope, not at all. What may be important however is breaking a newly forming habit of working out, that's why it important to stay active in other ways, and then jump back into you videos once able. You can even make it simple things like shoveling snow, raking up leaves, picking up branches or whatever debris the storm has brought you (or just doggy paddling in place if you are flooded)
