November Challenge

Hi Pals:
I have a group of pals that all weigh in on Friday mornings to hold ourselves accountable for our weight loss/gain & so we can support one another. This is a great way to gain support & force yourself to make better choices.
I'll be the first to say that I have been wavering in the last few months & not committed the way I need to. In an effort to boost my weight loss efforts, hold myself accountable & ensure results - I'm focusing on a November Challenge.
For my November Challenge, I promise to:
Walk/Run/Jog (etc) AT LEAST 50 miles (about 1.6 miles a day)
Drink AT LEAST 8 cups of water everyday
&
Be AT LEAST 10 lbs lighter by November 30th
Background on me: I'm only 5'2" & have about 50 lbs to lose. I'm getting married in less than 8 months & would really love to have the weight off before then. I'm a very positive & supportive person, but most def need people to motivate (harass) me about tracking & exercising. Feel free to ADD ME as a Pal & if you'd like to join our Friday morning weigh in Group that would be totally AWESOME! Good luck Pals & let the Challenge begin!

That's a great challenge! I'm going to push myself this month to do the JM 30 day shred all month...6 days a week. I start today. I too...have a wedding in 11 months so I would like to be at goal weight by then. I have about 35 pounds to lose.0

I was just having a discussion with my self how i should realy go back to tracking my food and do a better job in eating clean an try to excersise even more( i don't do a lot but i do a lot more than i used to do). I think this challange will help me do that i will start tomorrow because i did not even weigh my food today it was a very bad day! I will go to the gym and work my but off.
So i'm in!

Bike 100 miles
Take 2 aerobic classes/ week
Re-start Strong Lifts 5x5
No junk food! Stick to my cal/macro goals
I'm currently at 12lbs lost. I'd like to reach 15, by Nov 12 (my bday) and 25 total by the end of the month!0 -

I'd love to get involved too. I have just joined a new gym so my November challenges are:
Do at least half an hour of exercise a day and make it to the gym at least 4-5 times a week
Do 2000m on the rowing machine within 8 minutes by 30th Nov (I am currently managing it in just over 9).
I also aim to lose 10 lbs by 30th November. I have a white tie ball that night so definitely want to look good!
I might join your Friday morning weigh-ins if that's alright. I reckon it would be a great way to keep on track!0 -
